Zoe-perry
Perry was born in Chicago to actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. Her first appearance was on television as Jackie Harris, a character that was played by her mother on the ABC show Roseanne. Her parents did not allow her to begin acting with her parents till adulthood, as they feared the strain it might cause. Perry shy and shy to be a part of the theater in her high school, started to act in theater classes at Northwestern University because she wanted to meet new people. Perry started her acting career with New York after graduation, performing in minor role in Law & Order: Criminal Intent. However, the feeling of homelessness made Perry come back to California and find work as an actress in the theater. Perry was a part of the cast with her mother in The Other Place at Broadway at the end of 2013. Perry was in the show with their father Kevin McKidd and Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning drama Anna Christie in the year 2015 at the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, West Los Angeles. Perry appeared in 9 episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. In 2017, she was a part-time character in ABC's thriller about politics Scandal in which her father was the main character. The same year the actress was selected to play a young version of Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) on Young Sheldon, a spin-off of the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory again as a teen model of the mother's role. Despite having a family connection to the character, she was offered the role through an audition.
